Watch Me Fall Apart (Scars Run Deep Book 2) are Kindle 4 emotional starsPain was stronger than ecstasy, it obliterated everything in a way I craved on certain nights. Passion could fade halfway through but pain couldn't be ignored. Wow! Talk about an emotional read! The heroine, Sally, was a truly heartbreaking character. Told from the time she was a young teen that she wasn't good enough, her thought process when around men was painful to read about. "Don't you dare fall for this one, I scolded myself. Don't for a second think you're good enough for him" And the hero, Harrison, was such an amazing character. Total book boyfriend material! The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was because I felt the book dragged a bit towards the end. Otherwise, I truly loved this book! . Knock, knock Sal I told you I d be back I told you there s no escaping me Sally Jarvis is a good time girl who parties first and asks questions later Never without a drink in her hand, or a hangover, or a drunken anecdote, she ll jump into bed with a new guy before asking his name, and probably won t learn it before she jumps back out again Ignoring the concerns of heKnock, knock Sal I told you I d be back I told you there s no escaping me Sally Jarvis is a good time girl who parties first and asks questions later Never without a drink in her hand, or a hangover, or a drunken anecdote, she ll jump into bed with a new guy before asking his name, and probably won t learn it before she jumps back out again Ignoring the concerns of her friends, Sally never thinks twice about her self destructive behaviour, that is until she falls into Harrison Leo s arms literally Don t forget, I know who you are I know what you ve done Harrison is an unapologetic computer geek who devours comic books in his spare time and is working hard to earn his university degree He couldn t have less in common with Sally, the crazy party girl who stumbles into his life one night So why can t he get her out of his head The she pushes him away, the he s drawn to her, even though he knows he shouldn t be Even though he fears that if he steps too close to her brilliant flame he ll get burned You owe me, sweetheart And it s time to pay up Sally s feelings for Harrison burn hard and fast, but she knows she can t have him She ll never be good enough for a guy like him, no matter how hard she tries She ll never be able to escape who she really is Because the reason Sally parties so hard is about to catch up with her, and once it does not even Harrison will be able to save her Instead, he might just have to watch her fall apart Watch Me Fall Apart is the second novel in the Scars Run Deep series Book 1, Put Me Back Together, is also available This New Adult Romance novel is intended for readers 17.. The best Book Watch Me Fall Apart (Scars Run Deep Book 2) This is a pretty typical new adult book. Sally is beautiful and wild and numbs herself booze and sex. She believes her life of partying and seduction is all she's good for in life, until she meets Harrison who, naturally, forces her to challenge those views. I really liked the beginning of this book, but somewhere along the line I sorta lost interest. This is a relatively long book, and it doesn't really pull it off. It drags, and towards the end I was constantly checking the percentage on my kindle - never a good sign.I did really like Sally, though, and I felt so sorry for her at some points. There were also points where I felt like shaking her. I liked Harrison, but I felt like he was a bit too perfect, ya know? While not outstanding, this book was definitely what I needed after the trauma that is the Grisha Trilogy, so for that I'm giving it 3 stars. *thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read this book*

  3. Sally is a girl who wants to have fun in one way or another Likes partying, sex and drinking until to falling over in Harrison and suddenly he begins to realize that it is not as happy as it seems And that life is not so good and she deserves to be with a guy as good as Harrison And then we begin the readers to understand the trend of self destruction And because things in life Sally took it this turn.3.5 stars for Sally that the only negative I found was all that self pity on all pages It could [...]

  4. What I liked most about this book was that the main character, Sally, wasn t at all what she appeared to be at first glance and she was not at all what her friends or the people around her thought or expected her to be Most significantly, she was not even who she thought she was Sally s process of self discovery was the true beauty of the story At first, I thought Sally to be a beautiful and a bit wild young woman who had herself and her environment under control Wild partying and meaningless se [...]

  5. Watch Me Fall Apart is the second book in the Scars Run Deep series from Lola Rooney I had not read the first book Put Me Back Together I believe and this book can definitely be read as a stand alone I read this in 1 sitting and can honestly say I was impressed.I love a good New Adult romance and I ve found having read the genre now many years it can be hard to be original or even new when it comes to these books Lola created some characters who I felt worked well though and who I loved reading [...]

  6. I received a NetGalley ARC exchange for my honest review. This was a very well done version of a story done a million times over Girl meets boy and has instalove lustbut she has a deep dark secret and assumes he could never understand, so she keeps her secret to herself, makes horrible assumptions and bad decisions Honestly, though, I enjoyed the characters, the plotline, the reveal of the true depth of her secret shame and his , and the resolution.

  7. I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.I thought I was going to hate this book because Sally is the queen of self sabotage Plus, she was really rude to Harrison just because he was into what she considered to be really nerdy things I expected to be pissed off about her shitty attitude, but I ended up really enjoying this book. The book is honest and sometimes emotional painful I did like how the story was told, but I felt like the ending was just a little too neat Th [...]

  8. 3.5 StarsI am a bit at odds with myself here On one hand, I appreciate the huge growth Sally showed and the struggles that contributed On the other, this seemed to have a slow build up then a lot of action that was fairly hard to believe, then a too quick and happy resolution The person Sally avoids also might have been a bit too over the top overall, a little too one dimensional.I liked the characters and the comic book thing, but kind of wanted Like a tie in to Forever Why describe the series [...]

  9. I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.Somehow I missed that this was part of a series, but it reads well without having read the first book This book was NOT what I expected And I wanted to stop reading it multiple times I m glad I pushed my way on through and finished it I really thought that this was going to be a light romance, but I was quite wrong While the ending wraps up a bit too perfectly in my opinion, I still very much enjoyed this book I hated it at tim [...]

  10. Two steps forward I loved the evolution of the girl, Sally, throughout this book She hated herself but learned through her love be for Harrison that she was not the lies she had been taught to believe Her evolution to become the woman she was meant to be was refreshing.
