The One With The Wedding Dress Viral Ebook The One with the Wedding Dress is the second part in the four novella Bridesmaids series, and continues on from where The One with the Engagement Party left off. "Hope you lot are having a frocking good time." For Erin Lawless' character development and story so far, this gets a 3.5. For the fact that her publisher is releasing this over four instalments, it gets a one, because I have to be honest here and say it's a poor move by them. It's been a couple of months since I read the first "book" and, whilst I remember the basis of the storyline and eventually remembered how each of the the characters were linked, it appears to literally be one book that's been split into four: the fact that this one starts at chapter twelve reinforces this. And it's just not working. This absolutely isn't a reflection on Erin Lawless or her work; she's created a witty, likeable group of characters who bring humour that's right up my street and I am enjoying it. It's simply a case that the gaps between releases are ruining the flow of what could be a great overall story. Will I read The One with the Hen Weekend and The One with the White Wedding? Absolutely, but I'll wait until all four are out and read as complete series or hopefully book. Because the drip fed method just isn't working here.Copy received courtesy of Harper Impulse via NetGalley for an honest and unbiased opinion.. Save the Date For fans of romantic comedies like Bridesmaids and Four Weddings a Funeral, and bestselling authors Mhairi McFarlane and Jenny Oliver, this is a hilarious new romantic comedy series about one bride and her four best friends.. Popular Books The One With The Wedding Dress Review: I have been waiting for the second installment in this series for what seems like ages now and, let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I devoured this whole lovely second part in one sitting, laughing and even reading aloud bits I found hilariously funny to my poor fiancée! I loved getting back into the lives of Nora, Bea, Cleo, Daisy and Sarah, and of course their accompanying love interests! I am now officially BFFs with all of them I feel I know them so well. If the first part in this series was about setting the scene and showing us what each character was going through this was about getting to know them even more and of course, finding out more about the wedding! This of course is the hunt for the wedding dress, but it is so much more than that. Of course a trip that involves trains hire cars, a dodgy pub and a B&B is going to be fraught with great stories, but we get to learn so much more about these girls in this installment. We get to meet Nora's mother and really find out what this relationship is. We learn about possible tensions in the group and a few secrets about some of these bridesmaids finally come to the surface. Of course the major thing from the last installment was possible new couples being formed and we get a little insight into those relationships in this episode, just a tantalising amount. I was hoping there would be some sort of resolution but I'm kind of glad there's nothing set in stone as yet because that will just keep me wanting more until the next in the series in released-when is that please? As last time, this whole 100 page is one succinct little book of its own, despite that fact that is is part of a series, there's definitely a build up and some massive climaxes and you're left feeling comforted but still wanting more, just like a book should be! It's great that it is so short but frustrating that I'll now have to wait for the next part-noooo! I loved this, read both parts now and then join me int he wait for this fab author to fill our greedy book-loving hands with part 3!
